Toymaster Procedures

At Toymaster, we are committed to upholding the principles of the Modern Slavery Act and guaranteeing its non-existence within our supply chain. We have implemented a comprehensive Modern Slavery policy, complemented by specific HR guidelines for our UK operations. Our UK-based service partners have been engaged to enforce preventive measures against modern slavery rigorously. We require signed statements from these partners, which must be kept current through regular updates.

Due Diligence and Policies

We have strengthened our new Supplier due diligence processes to include a requirement for signed assurances around anti-slavery compliance at Supplier listing stage. In addition, our standard contractual trading terms document requires all Suppliers of goods to Toymaster Members to declare that they have no slavery within their supply chain. These documents are signed annually and continue to assure our processes.

Being a part of the British Toy and Hobby Association, Toymaster Ltd requires its suppliers to utilize factories audited under the IETP Ethical Toy Program or an equivalent scheme meeting or exceeding its standards.

Toymaster Ltd relies heavily on external parties for compliance. Nevertheless, we are committed to fostering enduring partnerships with both our suppliers and retail members. By maintaining this approach, Toymaster is optimistic that it will facilitate successful collaboration.

Risk Assessment

We are committed to analyzing all aspects of our operations for potential exposure to modern slavery risks. We will implement continuous improvement measures to fortify our systems. Presently, we have not identified any variations in our risk assessment. Nevertheless, we will conduct annual risk evaluations and make updates as necessary.
